KRISTINA RICHART | RENEWAL RESIDENT/INTERN

Born into a Christian home in central Minnesota, Kristina accepted Christ at a young age. She grew up attending a Baptist church and small Christian school. Once in middle school, she was old enough to begin attending the church's youth group. Once in youth group, Kristina joined a small group and was discipled. It was here that her faith began to grow and become her own. She continued attending the youth group through high school and got connected to a ministry in her hometown she began to volunteer at weekly. This ministry allowed her to serve children in her community and build relationships with their families. Quickly, Kristina knew that vocational ministry was right for her. She was passionate about serving underprivileged children and their families. In the fall of 2015, Kristina moved to Chicago to study Children's Ministry at Moody Bible Institute.

In November of 2015 Kristina attended Renewal Church for the first time with a friend and from that day forward, she never left! She quickly began volunteering with Renewal Kids and was a founding member of the Renewal Young Living leadership team. She is passionate about teaching children the Bible and creating community amongst the body of believers. She recognizes that bringing young people to Christ will change the rest of their life, as well as plant the next generation of the church.

Kristina graduated from Moody Bible Institute in the Spring of 2019 and is currently doing an internship with Renewal Church of Chicago. In this position she is working with Renewal Kids, Renewal Young Living, and Campus Outreach with their college ministry. She is also currently working on her doula certification and cannot wait to spend another year in Chicago learning, serving, and proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ.
