Stephen Sixtos | Resident group coordinator

Stephen grew up in Irving, TX. He was active in church most of his life growing up, came to faith in Christ and was baptized when he was fourteen years old. As a junior in high school family life took a turn for the worst, as did his decisions to give himself over to a life of rebellion. He chose to distance himself away from the Lord and live life on his own sinful terms. From 2006 to 2014, the Lord allowed Stephen to get to a point in his life where he could no longer run or hide from the grace of God that had already been given to him. In July of 2014, Stephen rededicated his life to Christ. In 2015, Stephen met Rachel and they were married in June of 2017. Throughout their relationship and engagement, Stephen became more involved in the church; volunteering, small groups and discipling other men. Eventually, the Lord led him to participate in an internship with the Groups Ministry as well as a theological training program through his church. As God opened door after door, it became evident that He was calling Stephen into a life of serving Christ through vocational ministry. Stephen is currently enrolled at Moody Bible Institute in the Pastoral Studies program. He leads the Set Up and Tear Down Ministry at Renewal and Rachel volunteers with the Kids Ministry. They both help co-lead in their home group. Stephen and Rachel are passionate about the gospel of Jesus Christ informing every area of life and are excited to serve the body of believer’s at Renewal for the kingdom and to the glory of God.
