Taste of Renewal with Oak Park Group

Join us as we celebrate summertime in Chicago.  Each week Renewal groups will be hosting an event in the city to encourage fellowship and community!  See graphic above for our July 24th event.  Barrie Park is located at 1011 S Lombard Ave, Oak Park, IL 60304, one stop from the Blue Line Austin stop.  We will meet near the base of the sledding hill, because we will be rocking some ICE BLOCKING.  Check out this video to see what you don't want to miss!

There is a playground right next to the sledding hill.  Feel free to bring camping chairs or picnic blankets to sit on, as well as frisbees, footballs or futbols.  We'll provide some pizza, chips and drinks.  Hope to see you there!

Taste of Renewal with Southside Group

Join us as we celebrate summertime in Chicago. Each week our Renewal groups will be hosting an event in the city to encourage fellowship and community! Monday, July 16th, we will be hanging out at Promontory Point Park with our Southside group‼️ Come ready to experience a great view of the city, enjoy some great food from the Southside, and fellowship over campfire with s’mores! Hope to see you there!

IMPORTANT DETAILS BELOW:

*There will be seating around the fire pit but feel free to bring a chair(s), hammock(s), blanket, etc.

DIRECTIONS: The entrance to Promontory Point is at 55th and South Shore Drive. If you’re driving, there is a decent size parking lot near the entrance. Across from the parking lot, you’ll see a walking path leading to a tunnel. Take that path to the tunnel, which goes right under Lake Shore Drive, and you’ll find yourself in the park on the other side.

There are several fire pits that run against the shore line at Promontory Point, but the best spot sits at the North end (Where we will be), which is the only one with a view of the city. To get to that spot, as you exit the tunnel, hang a left or a right and the path will take you straight there.

If you have any questions, call Chris (219) 902-8671!

See you guys there!

Taste of Renewal with Loop Group

Join us as we celebrate summertime in Chicago. Each week our Renewal groups will be hosting an event in the city to encourage fellowship and community! See graphic above for our July 10th event. This event will be pizza and picnic style. Hope to see you there!

PLEASE READ BELOW

Location:  We plan on setting up on the lawn north of the Maggie Daley Kids Play Area (directly adjacent to Upper E Randolph).

Parking:  We have free 3 hour Millennium Park Garage passes.  The address of the parking garage is 201 Lower E Randolph, (Lower E Randolph & Columbus Dr.)  Guests can enter Millennium Park Garage north or south bounds on Columbus Dr (between Lower E Randolph and Monroe).  Guest must ONLY park at Millennium Park Garage as directed and not Lakeshore Parking, which is the eastside section of the mentioned parking facility, or the 3 hours passes will not work.  There is plenty of signage indicating the separate parking facilities.  Upon entering the garage take the blue ticket and bring with.

Guests can also find meter street parking on Upper E Randolph, which is adjacent to Maggie Daley.

Headcount:  Could you please send a note and or included in our marketing - to text Jay @ 312.394.9937 if you plan on attending.  Aisha and I ordered a ton of food when we hosted dancing in the park and had 3 people show up.  We totally understand that coming into a packed downtown on a Tuesday evening is probably the most inconvenient place to get to.....however we do not want to over order again and therefore an estimated headcount will be very helpful.
